background is made of magazine page with flaps cut into it in a 45 degree angle grid. The flaps have been glued back in line with the grid. the backside of the flap shows type. the page is glued onto a sheet of mulberry paper that has washes of colour on it. predominant blue green colours with a birder on the left of red orange. some areas have been coloured. cheesecloth gessoed on top of the collage creates a screen effect. 1 photograph has been pasted on to the cheesecloth of the outline of a person standing beside a cardtable in a garden. the photograph is cut with an uneven perimeter. branches of green leaves have been drawn on top of the cheesecloth with green colour India ink to extend the photograph of the garden beneath.
